Warm greetings to you from the Festival Committee ~
Winter Wonderland is quickly approaching Sat. Dec 13th at Pacifica from 10-3.
We still need:
– Many volunteers for craft booths, set up, and clean up. Many hands make light work! Participating at festivals is a great way to earn volunteer hours – and it’s fun! Please contact Misti: firstname.lastname@example.org or contact the office if you are able to help out.
– Many donations for the Secret Gift Room. We need new or used items in good condition such as: trinkets, jewelry, games, books, stuffed animals, puzzles, home made goods. The children love this room as only children are allowed in the room to pick out items which will be wrapped for them to give as a gifts. These are not just child oriented items, but anything that the children could pick out as gifts. If everyone donated just a few items from home we would have a great assortment for the children to “shop” from. Please drop donations by the office as soon as possible.
We thank you all for your support and hope to see you at this wonderful celebration.Permalink

Waldorf Education 101: Why we do what we do
Presented by George Hoffecker of Hoffecker-Burgess consulting
A Workshop for Families and Educators
If you have questions about Waldorf methods curriculum and the reasons that we do what we do and when, this event is for you!
November 2oth, 2014

From this workshop, focus groups will be formed around the topic of curriculum, in order to focus on the particular questions living in the community. Each focus group will consist of a mix of stakeholders: parents, teachers, and administrators. These focus groups will gather information around those questions, and will provide valuable feedback to the Faculty Council, Charter Council, and Parent Council.
