Admissions

New Families:

Woodland Charter School (WCS) is accepting applications for children eligible for Kindergarten-8th grade. 

For this School Year (2024-25) please fill out the 2024-25 Intent to Enroll Form to begin the admission process.

Birth Date Deadlines:

Kindergarten: 5 years old by September 1st
Grade 1: 6 years old by September 1st
Grade 2: 7 years old by September 1st
Grade 3: 8 years old by September 1st
Grade 4: 9 years old by September 1st
Grade 5: 10 years old by September 1st
Grade 6: 11 years old by September 1st
Grade 7: 12 years old by September 1st
Grade 8: 13 years old by September 1st

General Information for Admission:

All students who reside in the state of Oregon will be eligible for admission to Woodland Charter School. Oregon Charter School law will allow students to apply to the school from outside the school district without an inter-district transfer.  If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of a given class, students shall be selected through a lottery process at the end of the enrollment period.

Admission steps for NEW STUDENTS will include:

  1. Fill out Intent to Enroll Form.
  2. Once a spot is available, we will contact you to set up an Intake Meeting.
  3. Finalize Enrollment by completing Online Registration.

Vaccination Information:

Immunization records must be on file in the Woodland Charter School Office. Please give a copy of updated immunization records to the office.

If you wish to file an exemption, please visit www.healthoregon.org/vaccineexemption and be sure to submit the certificate to the office once completed.
