Amie Wong
(Evergreen Class)
Amie was a Class Teacher for over 20 years at the Waldorf School of the Peninsula and then San Francisco Waldorf School before joining Woodland Charter School as the Class Teacher for the Evergreen Class in July 2025. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and was working at Genentech and Stanford University when her children led her to Waldorf Education. Amie received her Waldorf teacher certificate from Rudolf Steiner College, where she studied under Dorit Winter at the San Francisco Teacher Training extension. For Amie, being a Waldorf teacher has been an unexpectedly exciting and fulfilling adventure. When she has time off, Amie enjoys reading, nature, art, spending time with her family, cooking and gardening.
