Betsy Herren

Betsy Herren has been living and teaching in the region since 1990. She was born in Washington, DC and grew up in the Chicago area. In High School, her family relocated to rural Virginia and she attended college in the mountains of West Virginia. Babies, animals and nature are among her favorite things and she enjoys the outdoors, music festivals, gardening and ceremony as well as learning with kids at school. She lives on 40 acres at the end of the road with her husband and son, 4 dogs and 2 cats.
