Roy Thomas

Roy Thomas joined Woodland Charter School as a teacher in January of 2024. He grew up in the foothills of the Adirondacks in Northern New York. He received a Bachelors in Education from New York State College at Brockport in 2008. He was a Health and Physical Education teacher for a combined 6 years at the High School and Elementary level. He coached Girls Varsity Basketball for several years. Roy moved to Oregon in 2018 and found his home in the beautiful Applegate Valley. He enjoys hiking, paddle boarding and watching basketball – Go Tarheels!
